WE ARE PASSIONATE.

Always looking at the trees and the forest;
the parts and the whole;
the details and the big picture;
more details and the bigger picture.

I am not perfect. Like many of you, I am a teacher & a parent. We likely share many of the same questions, worries & joys!

One size does not fit all.
I am fuelled by dynamic problem-solving
and if I don't know something,
I sure am passionate about digging deeper!
Through the course of my career & postgraduate training, I've been struck by how many parents & teachers have
reached out for additional support to help kids who are stuck in cycles of disruptive, aggressive, or withdrawn behaviour.
Rewards don't do the job. Punishment only fuels the anger. Ignoring can create resentment. Exploding can be damaging.
Parents have felt helpless; teachers have felt depleted; and kids often remain "stuck."

arcs.solutions, Educational Consulting has grown from years of teaching experience, trial & error, parenting ups & downs,
and passionately digging through what top researchers in the education, medical, & psychology fields have concluded:
a focus on attachment, relationships, co-regulation, and self-regulation within the context of
safe, secure & predictable environments can lead to each person's optimized well-being.
Quoting Dr. Ross Greene, "kids do well if they can." We strongly believe that holds true for kids & adults alike.
Let's work together to promote healthy development, resilience & growth!

My family and I acknowledge that we are hosted - live and play - upon the lands
of the Mississaugas of the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the Wendat.
We also recognize the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and the Inuit peoples.
